EllisDon is excited to announce a significant milestone as we enter into a Design-Build agreement with Fraser Health for the new Surrey hospital and BC Cancer Centre project. We are honoured to undertake the responsibility of designing and constructing these state-of-the-art facilities, marking a new era in healthcare for British Columbia.

This project ushers in the dawn of B.C.'s first generation of smart hospitals, promising enhanced healthcare services for patients. The new Surrey hospital and BC Cancer Centre will revolutionize how healthcare is delivered by offering improved access to emergency, surgery, inpatient/outpatient, diagnostic, and cancer care services.

Ground has already been broken on this remarkable venture, which will become the City of Surrey's second hospital. This eagerly awaited addition will feature more than 168 hospital beds, a brand-new emergency department, and a cutting-edge surgical suite that will be a valuable asset to the community. In addition to the second hospital, the Surrey community will also gain a BC Cancer Centre, complete with a 50-room oncology ambulatory care unit. This pioneering cancer center will house 54 chemotherapy treatment spaces and accommodate six linear accelerators for radiation therapy. Additionally, it will boast two PET/CTs and a cyclotron, all dedicated to offering comprehensive care and support to individuals diagnosed with cancer.

We are excited to embark on this transformative journey in partnership with Fraser Health Authority, and we look forward to delivering these exceptional healthcare facilities that will positively impact the lives of countless individuals in the region.
