EllisDon Community Builders Joins 54th Annual Canadian Housing and Renewal Association’s National Congress

Interested in learning, networking, and engaging with Canadian community housing sector leaders? Now is your chance.

Joining this year’s Canadian Housing and Renewal Association’s National Congress on Housing and Homelessness virtual event are the EllisDon Community Builders (EDCB) experts. Hear from EllisDon’s affordable housing team members as they share their thoughts, opinions, and expertise on the latest developments, key issues, and more.

EDCB is a division of EllisDon dedicated to affordable housing that works directly with non-profit organizations and municipalities. EDCB’s access to expertise across many departments within the greater EllisDon group allows the team to provide a holistic and comprehensive approach to delivering the high-quality, affordable and sustainable developments that communities need to address the ongoing housing crisis.

"Providing a safe, respectful, and holistic environment for our Nation's members is a foundational part of who we are as Missanabie Cree First Nation. We are delighted to be working with EllisDon Community Builders on critical affordable housing & social infrastructure initiatives for our members and the community at-large, and appreciate their efforts and commitment in helping us deliver on this value. These projects are generational, and will work to house not just our present communities, but also to build towards a sustainable, inclusive, future for us all." - Chief Jason Gauthier, Missanabie Cree First Nation, President, Missanabie Cree Business Limited Partnership.

This year’s Congress will:

  • present over a dozen concurrent information sessions and workshops
  • feature leaders in the Canadian housing sector

  • tackle urban, rural, and northern Indigenous housing issues at CHRA’s Indigenous Caucus and throughout the Congress program
