HALIFAX — With the summer season winding down, EllisDon Halifax recently wrapped up their fourth and last Adopt-a-Day event of the year with Habitat for

Humanity Nova Scotia.This year's initiative will help complete six homes in Nova Scotia, including two duplex units in Spryfield, NS.

"Participating in this build has been an opportunity to see and know what you are doing will have a lasting effect for the families," says Krista Mason, EllisDon

Halifax. "It will give parents the security and safe environment needed for their children. Working together as a team, sharing each of our build days'

experience with each other and our families, has given our Maritime staff the chance to share our pride and knowledge for the benefit of those families in our

community; they are our future."

EllisDon kicked off its first Adopt-a-Day in June and has donated $10,000 toward the initiative. Visit your local Habitat for Humanity website to learn more
