We are excited to announce EllisDon's Energy & Digital Services team has been selected to deliver our Managed Services solution for ICD-Brookfield Place, the mixed use high rise building located in the heart of Dubai International Financial Centre in the United Arab EmiratesOur team will support the intelligent infrastructure that was deployed during the construction of ICD Brookfield Place. Our Managed Services team will provide both on-site and remote support and maintenance of the converged building network, the wireless network, the VoIP network and the building firewalls including access management via the virtual private network. We will also maintain and support both the structured cabling and the base building fiber.EllisDon provides a unique skill set with respect to our support model. Our solution is comprised of vendor-certified on-site technicians and remote management via our Network Operations Centre. This means that the intelligent infrastructure at ICD-Brookfield Place is monitored 24 hours per day, seven days per week.

The roadmap consisted of three phases:Phase I: EllisDon was retained to assist in the development of the digital strategy for the building. This included detailing the building’s intelligent roadmap and reviewing the design drawings and the specifications for the building systems to determine their level of compliance.Phase II: EllisDon was selected to be the project’s Building Integration System consultant. Our scope included the management of the RFP development for the active network, the management of the structured cabling and the management of the RFP development for the Centralized Management Platform.

Phase III: EllisDon was selected to implement the converged building network (active components). This included finalizing the bill of material, scheduling the procurement of the hardware, configuration, installation and commissioning.
