Preparing for Greatness – EllisDon’s IST Team Supports the Canadian Paralympic Committee

Supporting Paralympic Excellence and Igniting Change Through Sports

Since 2021, EllisDon’s Infrastructure Services & Technology (IST) Division, a group of teams focused on optimizing the built environment through technology-backed solutions, has been a proud partner of the Canadian Paralympic Committee (CPC) and a supporter of the ParalympicFoundation of Canada.

EllisDon and CPC Through the Years

Starting with the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games, EllisDon provided key services at the Paralympic Village, including concierge support, space planning and pre- & post-occupancy inspection services. Our partnership with the CPC became official in 2021 and our team continued to build on our service offering. At the Beijing 2022 Paralympic Games and Santiago 2023 Parapan Am Games, the team provided on-site operations and maintenance technical expertise, inventory management and signage strategy and implementation.

Our partnership is continuing to evolve at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, as we are now delivering carbon footprint tracking and advising on sustainability practices. During the games, our team will be focused on the following elements: energy and water consumption, waste, procurement, international transportation, and in-country transportation services.

I am honored to participate on a project that celebrates determination, greatness, and inclusivity and I am looking forward to supporting the Canadian Paralympic Team in Paris.”
